The red carpet was rolled out along the beach side of Surfers Paradise for the Gold Coast Music Awards. Emm caught up with some of the finalists before the award ceremony and live entertainment on the big stage.

Broadbeach Superhero Weekend
​
Broadbeach hosted its annual Gold Coast Superhero Weekend, a celebration of pop culture incorporating Supanova Pop Culture Expo, Gold Coast Film Festival, and lots of action packed events including a cosplay parade through the heart of Broadbeach. Here are some highlights of some of the sights, colours, and personalities.

LIVIN Concert Fundraiser
​
The Lyrical, Jackson Dunn, and Tokyo Beef joined forces at Mo's Desert Clubhouse to raise funds and awareness for Livin. A great turnout and event in a new creative space in Burleigh Heads. Here are some of the highlights and information about www.livin.org.au

Bonogin Valley Rural Fire Brigade
​
Bonogin Valley Rural Fire Brigade is a volunteer brigade providing 24 hour response coverage supported by neighbouring rural fire brigades across the Gold Coast along with Fire and Emergency personnel. They have been servicing the community since 1992 which has included anything from attending bush fires, structural fires, car accidents as well as supporting the local community in storm and flood clean up. These organisations only exist with the support of our community.
